VOGHA February 2012 Update

Hello, All.

Here is the Gahanna Police Department report for February. If you have questions about it, contact them directly.
There’s also a note from the City of Gahanna offering shredding and recycling service on April 21 – looks like a good deal

Also, the City of Gahanna Parks department is in major need of Lifeguards for city pools this summer, contact them if you have someone in need of a summer job.

Finally, the City of Gahanna and the central Ohio Emergency Management Bureau has scheduled a Tornado Alarm TEST for March 28 at 9:50 a.m. so be advised

Happy Holidays! Let’s keep them safe and happy.

Attached is the monthly GPD Newsletter. To follow up on it, please remember to keep your vehicles locked if they are parked outside. And do not leave valuables visible in them.

If you have any vehicle break-in or an attempted one, please call the GPD. To quote Chief Murphy “We have experienced several thefts from vehicles around the city and remind you to take precautions. Please get in the habit of writing down license plate numbers and calling the police department at 342-4240 for all suspicious activity.”

Some thoughts and reminders:

Please slow down in the Neighborhood, we are a family neighborhood and kids are near and sometimes even on the streets.
If you see any activity in your area that looks suspicious, don’t wait to call the GPD at 342-4240. They want to help.
When walking your dog, please make sure to “pick up” after they do their duty.
Household trash should not be placed on the curb until Monday evening after 5 pm.
Halloween is coming on Monday, have fun but please look out for all the kids
And don’t forget to VOTE on Tuesday, Nov. 8th. Our votes really do count.

Attached is the monthly Gahanna police report. Officers indicate there has been a spike in car break-ins and vandalism. Remember to take all valuables out of your car nightly and lock it.

Also, please try to slow down in our neighborhood and observe the stop signs.
