Several Gahanna Police officers have spoken individually at our neighborhood meetings and have provided some great insight into the crimes that typically occur in our neighborhood. Here are the key points they hit over and over:

    the Police Dispatcher at 342-4240. They will send a cruiser, if available, to patrol the area.

  • Keep your car doors locked and valuables out of sight at all times. GPS devices, iPods, cell phones and briefcases (which may contain laptops) are favorites.
  • Keep your garage doors CLOSED. Open doors let criminals go “window shopping” for tools, lawn mowers, bikes, etc.
